📄 Job Duties & Responsibilities
As the LatAm Base Social Media Manager, you will be instrumental in expanding our reach and engagement across Latin America. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning and executing Base’s social media presence and regional content strategies across platforms like X, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Localizing global campaigns for a Spanish-speaking LatAm audience, ensuring cultural relevance and brand consistency.
- Growing and engaging the regional community by actively connecting with builders, creators, and traders.
- Monitoring sentiment and trends within regional crypto markets and communities to inform actionable content or campaigns.
- Creating and directing compelling content tailored for optimal performance on various social platforms.
📌 What We Look For (Requirements)
We are searching for a passionate and experienced individual who thrives in the dynamic world of crypto. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Deep immersion in crypto culture, with active participation onchain and daily tracking of trends and narratives.
- At least 3 years of social media management experience, preferably within crypto, tech, or Web3 startups.
- Additional experience in growth marketing, content creation, or community-led growth.
- Proven experience in growing or managing crypto communities in Latin America; existing relationships with builders, creators, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) are a significant advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clearly, with personality, and adjust tone for different audiences.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English. Knowledge of Portuguese or other additional languages is a plus.
- Preferred locations include Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil, with possibilities for candidates in the US.
